I also received this call, and almost fell for it because I am a graduate student who has applied for Federal grants. If you were a victim of this fraud, please go to ic3.gov and report it. Even if they did not actually scam you or get your money, please report it so they will be stopped!!!

I used to NEVER gets this type of call and now we get them ALL the time on both our home number and my cell phone.  We finally figured out that is all started around the time I applied for health insurance through the government.  Coincidence?

They said I have a grant for $7000 but I need to sent $220 through Western Union begore ivget the grant. Please no one shoud fall for this. These Indian [***] have access to our life, SSN, and phone numbers.  Help stop them before our senior citizens and innocent get ripe off. 3698075355 is the number.
