Called me 8 times in the matter of an hour tell me I owed the irs money and to go to cvs and get iTunes cards to pay the taxes.

Got a call saying if I don't call them back in would be reported to my local police department and arrested.

Just got a call saying I was being reported to my local police department and arrested. At the end of message said to call them back and they where the IRS?

I received the same call claiming they were from the IRS and I owed 1,786.26$ to the IRS and they were going to report me to my local police department. I called back and I heard background noises that didn't sound like an office environment so I hung up went on the IRS website and they have a scam number to call to report these calls they also say the IRS doesn't call you they will send a letter. The number is (800) 366.4484 for the IRS Treasury Administrator to report them.

Just received a call that was an automated recording telling me that I would be reported to the local police to be arrested, and that they were from the IRS. After reading the prior comments here and on other sites, I blocked the number with call blocking app.
