CID shows Marysville, WA. YES they are scamming. The IRS NEVER EVER calls you. I called them back twice to make sure they said IRS. 1st time they said "IRS how can i help you?" I said you called me. They hung up. 2nd time they said "IRS how can i help you?" I told them they were scammers and the IRS NEVER calls people and they better never ever call me again or i will report them to the local police and GET A REAL JOB have a great day & CLICK!! Normally i'm not a hateful person when answering the phone but there is only so many times a person can get scamming phone calls.

An automated message telling us to call another phone number, saying that the IRS is suing. Naturally they don't know my name or address.

The IRS *does not* sue people in civil court, nor will the IRS ever initiate a phone call to you, unless you called them first.

Automated message that I am being sued by the IRS.  Scammers must be hard up as the voice was a very old, poor machine voice.
