Best thing to do is not to use your major credit card, because you will be on their calling list.

Automated message, said they were calling about my credit card (though they didn't say what company I use, so clearly just a spam call), and how I had a limited time to get a lower interest rate. Press 1 to speak with someone, press 2 to discontinue these notices. (I just hung up.) I'm on the do not call list - shouldn't that stop things like this?
