Recording informed me that homeowners could reduce their electric bill if they currently paid more than $100 per month.  I punched one to talk to a representative and ask why they were violating the do-not-call list.  She informed me that they got my number from the census and that they were not soliciting anything and were therefore not in violation of the list.

I asked why they did not simply mail letters to homeowners.  She responded, "because this is 2013."  When I complained about her sarcasm, she hung-up the phone.

I have both my cell number and home number on the "DO NOT CALL LIST".  I've received 10 calls from telemarkers in the last 2-weeks alone.  WTH
