Got a call last night from this number.  Caller ID showed "Vancouver WA but no areas code.

I get 5-6 calls per day from "800 Service", random strings of numbers for a caller name, and also assorted city names and a phone number.  These are robo-calls and I would bet that most of the numbers (especially the 800 numbers) are spoofed numbers that show up on Caller-ID.

It's too bad that the federal government doesn't seem to want to do anything about this.  The Do-Not-Call list is useless.  When you try to get somebody to take your name and number off their call list, they simply hang up.

830pm no message, land line they say.

Answered, but no reply so I hung up.  This area code is deceptive.  It is for an area in extreme northern and extreme southern Washington State with several other area codes in between.  I have no idea why they did this.  I often answer thinking it's someone local but it's a junk call from the southern part of our state.
