I am a 73 yr old sr. with many severe medical problems , spending a lot of time in bed when this call came .I could not hear the man one the other end so hung up .these type of calls need to be made to pay a finewhen caught.

Caller started to say something that I did not understand so I asked where she was calling from and then she said she was Jennifer from the US Treasury Department.  I said Oh and asked What's up.  The connection ended from her end.  Likely some sort of scam.  why would US Treasury department call someone in Hamilton, Ontario?

I do not answer calls i do not know; however, my phone showed a message was left.  It was only breathing on the line.  I really wish these calls would stop.  I have signed up numerous times for DO NOT CALL and i seem to be getting more.  that is a useless service.

Call came from a woman with an accent I didn't recognize. She told me she was with the US Dept of Weights and Measures and I was being offered a grant that I didn't have to pay back. I told her it sounded too good to be true, she hung up.
Hey scammers! You have to apply for grants with a purpose for the money.

This was another grant scam, of course I didn't have to pay it back.In his accent when heard saying Walmart and western union, I had to stop him and say how stupid do you think people are, this has been going o for years, at that point he hung up. Boy I wish this could be policed somehow, it just keeps getting worse. The do not call lists only work for legit companies because the crooked ones don't pay any attention to them. So exasperating
