Interesting - I called the number back from my cellphone - not the landline where the calls were coming in - and got a person named "Diane" who identified herself as being with The Kirby Company in Woburn, MA.  Supposedly they are offering a coupon for a FREE rug/upholstery cleaning service and that "the calls hang up when no one answers them." I countered her claim with the fact that I have personally answered the calls and that each one has hung up in my ear.  Diane then went on to tell me that the company is not pleased with the level of service this "auto dialing" company is providing, and that they are switching to a local number rather than one in Olympia WA where all the calls are directed.  Ended up giving her my landline number with an immediate removal from the dialing system.  If it doesn't happen, at least now I have more info for follow up with the authorities when/if it's needed.
