This number is one of many used by a group claiming that they are "Account Services" and somehow related to your credit card company, whether VISA or MasterCard. They are trying to sell you another credit card by luring you with lower interest rates. One of their main recordings says, "Hi, this is Ann from Account Services." They are scam artist and ask for your credit card number, your social security and when you don't give it to them they hang up. If you ask any questions about them, they hang up. If you ask for their phone number, they hang up. This is one of the biggest scams out there today. They never call you with their real number too. If you try to call the phone number that shows up on your caller ID, it doesn't work. If someone has a way to track these people down, I would love to know about it because I would seriously pursue legal action against them.

I've gotten 6 calls from this number this month.  It's a scam credit card interest rate plot.  The recording says that it's "Account Services."  The guy I just talked to I think said it was actually "Card Services."  I asked him to repeat himself and then he hung up on me.

ID reads STUDENT SERVICE. Answered it and asked. "Who is this?" several times. Never a sound.

So tired of these calls. I ask them to delete my number & stop calling and was told they would call by same time next day. Even though I laughed about it if I could press charges against these people I would.

Day after day "Student Service" calls, leaves no message.  I have blocked the call so my phone only rings once.  I only have 30 blocks available and 29 are used.  Does this tell you something about the government's "Do Not Call" program?  About as good as anything government does - nothing works - it's just a scam to give taxpayer money to somebody.  Start a program, hire people to run it, give jobs to supporters, spread the wealth around - only it's not the government's money.  Will this country ever wake up?
