call me everyday 3-4 times....:(

Morons are calling my cell phone about every two hours for three days. I was away in the desert hunting rocks (my job for a chemical company) so when I got back I saw their calls. No message, so I looked them up here.

I complained (via chat) to Verizon about them letting spammers & scammers to call through their company and provided them the number. I waited the next 'scheduled call' didn't happen - and I have not gotten a call since.

Additionally my daughters also stopped getting the calls.  (They are grown & gone, have their own Verizon phone services) Their own Verizon "Friends and Family" plans people also stopped getting their calls - at least in the same prefix area. Recommend this action so their call outs cut their own throats across the whole spectrum. Plus Verizon contacting the Feds ‘for their customers’ or Verizon taking up legal action (they have money to do so & sue for ‘band-width violations – i.e. lost income’) has greater impact.

Isn't there any way to REALLY stop these telemarketers?  This caller was so obnoxious.   I told him I was ill and couldn't talk,(which was the truth) but he kept on talking and wouldn't take no for an answer until I finally had to hang up on him. He promised me a free $850 security system if I would only let him put a sign in my front yard.   Yeah, RIGHT!  Somebody please stop these scammers.

6175 is a bs telemarketing scam out of washington state. They like other companies call 3000 miles away so they know you are not the nieghbor going to track them down and blow up there [***] office.   Investigating numbers is easy u have to call your phone provider and put a block on the number if they are calling your cell phone download an app to block it. A wireless alarm systm is possible but thre will be someone who has a master key for the encryption of the alarm system so really you are never safe imo.  Unless you and only you have the authority to operate your alarm system then you can never be sure of who can get in your home. A perfect example of this is th BTK killer that was working fo adt in Witchita and had access to alarm code and would go into the home turn off the alarms and bind torture and kill his victims. Never buy into anything when they say FREE
