The best way to handle these low life credit debt morans is to turn the tables on them. I keep making calls, pretend I'm interested, and then curse them out. This wastes their time, and eventually they block your calls and won't pick up. This method works particularly well when the telemarketer is offering a free cruise in an attempt to get you to buy a time share. But instead of calling back the telemarketer I call the cruse ship line that they're doing business with. After wasting a good 20 minutes of the reservationists time booking a suite with all the bells and wistles (kind of like a Howard Stren type of call) and when they finally ask for the credit card I give them the name and telephone number of the last telemarketing dummy I spoke with.
