Just got another call on my cell from this particular number and thought I'd check in.
I get spam/scam calls from this area code often -- at least once a week for the past two years. Cell phone and home line. There is, alas, not much you can do about these calls since the scammers (a) use a battery of numbers that are always changing to circumvent phone number blocking and (b) don't give a rip about any national do-not-cal registry. In fact, the calls likely originate from a room of voip-equipped computers outside of the USA. The 360-numbers are simply a mask -- try calling most of these numbers back and you merely get a busy signal.
In any case, these folks are phishing for credit card numbers. They do so under the guise of offering a free cruise or taking a political survey and so on. Again, there's nothing to do except to ignore all unidentified calls from this area code.
Rest assured they did not get your number from any reputable or even unreputable company. The scammers' computers methodically dial millions of phone numbers. Whether you pick up the call or let the call connect with your voicemail, it doesn't matter -- either way, once your phone connects, they now know your phone number is live, and they will continue to hit you with phone calls until they decide to stop.
Think of them as modern tech's version of the mosquito.
