When I answered it had the scream of a fax-machine and then nothing.

This is obviously just another scam call.  We have been getting more and more of theses types of calls, even though we block as many of them as possible.  Seems like our land line phone, is just a conduit for scammers these days.  Am so tired of these types of calls.  

This is a vehicle warranty scam.  Maybe not a scam but kind of shady and definitely eligible for the DO NOT CALL LIST.The say your car' original warranty has expired and would you like to buy their extended warranty.

Call regarding expired license tabs...is what I heard.  Asked them to call back in 15 minutes because I was busy.  They did not call back, and my tabs are not expired. Tried to call them back and took a long time to connect and then it was busy.

Caller ID says "VEHICLE SVC", rang 3 times, no message left.  Will block this number too.
