This was on my answer machine--"The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is Filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 360-406-4679. I repeat 360-406-4679. Thank you." I didn't call the number. It is obviously a scam.

I just got home and had the exact same message on my voicemail from the same number.
I did not call the number back.

Received the same phone call.

i called to get info on scam.. 6/5/15; Left number to call back, I called and man ( sound like India) identified as IRs agent Anderson ID# IRM62645 and said I had a 2013 calculation error on my tax return and said I had a lawsuit filed by the IRS that could freeze my bank account, pay checks, and prison time if I don't pay it. He asked for my name and address and I told him he should have it, he called me, and he read off my name and address which was correct.  Asked if I intentionally made this error or was it a mistake. Asked him to repeat the question about 4 times due to hard to understand what he was saying and we were then disconnected. I called him back and same person answered, he apolizied and then I told him to mail me a certified letter and then we would go from there, we were disconnected again.

My dad got the same call yesterday @1:06 pm.  The voicemail said the same thing that they are stating to everyone else. The lady who answered the phone stated her name as Kelley Johnson id#IRM4853 she stated that be had been oudit from 2008 to 2013, he could not understand what the lady was saying so he told her I'm putting my daughter on the phone so she can help me understand they then disconnected the call my day being worried called the # back 5 times and no answer. I think this is a scam!!!
