This was a recorded IRS scam call

This has to be a TELEMARKETER/SCAMMER using a ROBOCALL device. How do I know? The call was picked up by answering machine (which a HUMAN would recognize!)... therefore all I got was the "tail-end" of the message... which said CALL 360-369-4015 ASAP since it was URGENT and repeated the number.
Yea Right!?! Like I would call ANYONE back that I didn't recognize NOR deal with.  So much for being on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY... or maybe it's the RESULT of being on the registry. Who knows!

I must have received the same message, or tail end thereof, stating that (whoever) is filing a lawsuit against me. At first I called the number back but got a busy signal. Then it just rang and rang and a robot voice said, "Your party is not answering. Please call back later."

A man told me that I owed $3200.00 and would be arrested for unpaid taxes!! They were going to shut down everything with my name on it, unless I paid them!!

Its a scam and its all over this message board.  There must be hundreds of scammers using this line.

The way it works, the scammer gives you a chance to avoid arrest by paying the bill right this second.  It has to be paid by giving him your credit card number or bank account number over the phone.  And the scammer immediately starts spending of your money.  Or it can be paid by Green Dot card, which you have to purchase at WalMart right this minute.

If you fell for it call your bank and whatever account you gave him, get the account number changed.  Do it now, before he has time to spend all of your money.  Its already too late to stop payment sent by Green Dot card.
