The person on the call claimed to be with the IRS and it also sounded like a computer generated call.  They threatened that they would sue me if I didn't call them back.  That comment definitely made it a scam call.

I got the same call today

Left 20 sec computerized voice message asking me to call. First part of message inaudible. Now blocked.

Got a call a few minutes ago from that number. Said I'm being sued by the IRS and to call that number. Is it a scam?

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.
