I just got the same text messages from a number of people - joshua_bilton1209@outlook.com - phone number 647-795-3226 as well as another text from 747-500-6007 stephencole4849@outlook.com

Looking for me to email them directly, and set up a paypal account for payment. Said that they were working in the Hibernia oil field…

Glad I checked

Within 6 minutes of posting my ad on Kijiji I received a text from 'Barry Craig' from 1-(254)-672-4411. He asked me to email him at barrycraig08@gmail.com. I then emailed him and we went on about how his son graduated top of the class at Dalhousie and he would set up a courier to come pick up the car. He said he'd pay me an extra $200 to take down the ad too lol. Very weird scam. I hope nobody is foolish enough to fall for this

Dealing with this [***] right now. I am gonna f*** with him

I got a txt from this guys a well plus 3 others in about 30 mins. Story is word for word as you have said. He doesn't work for TNT and they do not do off shore rig work. This company makes matting for oil rig work sites in Alberta and Saskatchewan. It is a scam.

Just recieved the same email from "Barry Craig" wanting to purchase my car ... Sounded too good to be true. Looked up his name and company online and found this forum! Thanks for sharing everyone. Be aware.
