The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Same old Credit Card SCAM, they just keep changing their number and try again and again and again. This time it only took them 25 hours to call on a different number. No way to block them, just have to ignore them.

Yesterday they called on 206-397-1975 then this number today.

By my count credit card scams that have similar recorded introductions have used over fifty different numbers to call my home over the last two years . Many times there have been multiple calls from the same number.

Repeated requests to stop calling have had no success. I've been on the Do-Not-Call list for over 10 years and annually verified. At times it seems like they use the Do-Not-Call registry as a telephone book.

To Karen Griggs and other landline owners...ps I don't work for this company either...get a digitone.  Best $99 I ever spent over 3 years ago.  Blocks up to 80 numbers or entire area code and who needs anything 1-800?  I have it hooked to my landline and the phone doesn't ring.  My comcast only blocks 12 numbers and when you got 000 prefixes it wouldn't even block those numbers because it didn't register that combo.  2 weeks ago my unit quit working and I called the company, they still had my info in their database, the man was quite cordial and helpful and I said do they just die and I need a new one?  He said they don't just die, just change the plug in adapter and it worked!  Even if the unit itself malfunctioned its <$20 including postage to send in to company to be fixed.  I rarely blog praise but this is the real deal people!

There's no need to spend $100 on a device to block calls as there are many less expensive options. Even some free ones.

If you are interested in replacing/upgrading your phone many are now available with blocking features and the ability to block a lot of numbers.

The T-lock Incoming PRO Call Blocker sells for under 60 bucks on Amazon and can block up to 1500 numbers. Not 80 like the Digitone.

You can set up a Google phone account for free (with easily configurable call blocking) and get your home calls forwarded there.

If you have a home office or just have a home computer on most of the time Phone Tray Free software  may work for you. As the name implies, it's free. They no longer have the free version on the company web site but it's widely available via torrent. Phone Tray free lets you block on the CNAME field ("Card Services", etc.), not just the phone *number*.

No need to send the Digitone spammers any of your hard earned money.
