received call about noon today. Loud ship horn and someone claiming to be the captain. said it was a public opinion poll. hung up on them.

I just got a call from that number as well, no message left. The screen said Washington (as in Washington state), area code is listed as the Bellingham, Vancouver area.

Called and I answered. (I'm at work, have to answer the phone.)
Gave my greeting, waited and no one was there.
After about 8 seconds I heard a click and the call ended.

Mine is the same as Lee's above. They called my work. I called back and was able to remove my number. Let's see if it works!
