My daughter received a call from these people.  Said she was going to receive a grant from the Gov.  Gave her a call back number and a ID number.  Luckly she called me a work and I called the number.  I believe my company number must have come up on their call ID.  First time no one answered the phone, second time a guy with a heavy accent answered.  I told him I could hear him very well and was calling to verify a call my daughter had received.  He hung up.  I called again and they wouldn't answer the phone.

got a call from this number claiming we just won a grant from the goverment and gaves us an ID number and ask us to call the # 360-244-4597 and ask for steven cooper. this has scam written all over it

I got a call from this number saying I got approved for a $7000 grant. They gave me call and a number and grant approval code. I called the call back number and the guy who answer was named Steve Cooper. He told me I was approved for the $7000 grant but I would have to send $230 in order to receive it and they would wire me the money in less than 30 through Western Union. I hung up and my husband called back to ask what it was they told him the same thing. He asked to speak with a manager and the managers name was John Pole. My husband told them that they were ridiculous for them to approve a grant for $230. This is a scam.
