Just got a call from this number, but when I answered I couldn't hear anything except for the sound of a phone button being pushed then they hung up. It won't let me call back at all. Anyone know who it is or why they called?

Since it was obviously a fake spoofed number, it was definitely a scammer! Block the number and don't even think about it.

Just got a call from this # talking about car insurance. When I told them I already have car insurance she hung up. What a POS.

As a practice, I never answer a call that I don't recognize the number... if it's that important they can leave a voice mail and if it is credible I will return their call.
