received a call from this number 360-2297522 left no message

i did to im pretty sure its a scam. they tried telling me i owed money to the government which i know i dont.  I hung up on them before i let him say anything else.

I got a phone call from 360 229 7522 and saying he is calling from United States of grant department and I won 9000????
he has some accent and checked while he is on the phone and found out it is scam.
Thank god I was near my laptop :)

Went through with it then tried calling back and the number was disconnected... F me...now I'm worried

I just received a call from 360-229-7522. The caller who did not identify himself personally, claimed to be with the government and I had won a $9000 grant. Asked me if I'd like to find out how to get it. I told him I'd like to find out how to report you for a scam and hung up. You don't win a grant, you are awarded a grant, and they don't just select people at random. If you receive a grant you or someone you know applied for that grant and you know something about whether you're getting it or not. No one has to call you to tell you.
