Received a message at work claiming to be IRS.  Have no idea why, so I called back and let it ring until I got a message machine that said I had reached the "Gibsons".  Obviously a scam.  I work for a government agency and will be reporting it.

Got call this morning from this number.  They left voice message--sounded very Indian dialect--said name was Agent James Brown, with case number from Audit and Commission Dept of IRS.  Said 24 hrs or I would be arrested by police.  Called back, person who identified themselves as Attorney Gary Stevens hung up when I asked for Agent James Brown.  When I called again, just rang busy--appears they can block your incoming call.  JERKS!!!  Guess they are too lazy to be honest, would rather steal from you and let you work.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM......... I got this same message back in February,they almost got 2600.00 from me,almost. It's the same guy as last time. They can go to hell.

Prerecorded call saying this is my final notice from the IRS before they file a lawsuit against me.

got automated robot call saying irs was filing a lawsuit against me and to call 360 216 1918 .
signal was very broken with heavy static. did not call back after reading this forum. where do these weirdos get our phone numbers? did they hack a database?
