I had a call from this number this morning.  It was a recording of a woman's voice and she said there was no problem with my "credit card" but she could offer me a lower rate of interest and I should push 1 to connect to someone that I could speak to about it.  I just hung up.  The woman did not give me the name of the company she works for.

Rarely will they, and when you ask who they're with, it's always a generic name, if they don't hang up on you. They're fake, they can't provide good answers so they can't handle being on defense by having to answer questions.
