You are correct.  Credit Card Services, Card Services, and other names of that nature are a big scam.  These sleezebags have been preying on people for more than 2 years now.  Our wonderful government hasn't done a thing about it yet, even though they have scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars.
 BTW, the Do Not Call list is for real businesses, that law DOES NOT apply to scammers.  Filing a complaint to the FCC under the DNC law for scammers won't do a thing for you other than waste your time.

I get repeated calls from this number asking me if I want to lower rate.  I do not owe anything; I've pushed option 3 many times to be taken off list but they continue calling. This time I wanted to speak to a person and so I pushed 1; after waiting a couple minutes, I heard a voice.  I nicely said I wanted them to stop calling but before I could even get that out, she hung up.

Caller attempted to reach me by cell phone; call dropped because it does not appear in my contact list.

spam from Longview WA.  I added it to my Ooma blacklist

This one is more persistent than most. Block it ASAP.
