He said his name was Steve Martin. He had an accent like from India. He said he was calling regarding the enforcement by the U.S. Treasury. Ignoring this second warning would be federal  offense and would go before a magistrate, judge or grand jury if I did not respond.  He did not use my name at all.

This person called for my son today whose stationed oversees.  Knew it was a scam but thanks for posting.

Steve Martin called me from this number  threatening that I would have to go to a hearing with a magistrate and appear before a grand jury. Really bad English and grammar. what a big scam!

Voice mail from this same Indian Dean Martin about a legal action from the Treasury.   Didn't say what Treasury.   Could be from anywhere or any country.   Need to call back or else what?   No explanation other then "if you help us we will help you".    With what?   Erased the stupid voice mail.

BTW, the US government especially the IRS doesn't call you unless you have already established a connect with them via a visit concerning a major issue, such as having your Identify stolen.   They only send you paper otherwise about issues.   This was obviously another spammer.   I wonder if these Indian callers and their country realize what a view people in the USA have about all Indians from India and their country due to all these spammer calls.   I have a view now that all Indians are stupid and trying to steal from me.
