Jumbled message was left on my voice mail, I tried to call back a number of times but the line was busy.

Call came in with no name/ext/reference etc. claiming irs was placing lawsuit on us. Calling number received no connection busy signal on multiple occasions.

The computer-generated message left from this number claimed to be from the IRS threatening a warrant to arrest me.  I called it back and left as a call back the number of the LAST jerkwad, who called and told me he was from the IRS with a distinct, Indian accent.  I'd like these two bozos to call each other.  In case you didn't know, the IRS NEVER, EVER calls anyone so ignore any and all such calls.

FRAUDULENT. SCAM. The message left from a call from this number claimed to be from the "IRS", this was a "final notice" and "lawsuit". Bogus bull-pucky. The IRS does NOT initiate contact to taxpayers with a phone call. I think this would be hilarious, but it's not, because there have to be some (naive) people taken in by this SCAM.

The IRS does not initiate contact with tax payers via PHONE.  Don't be taken in by this SCAM.
