Picked up and a recording started.  Didn't hang on to see what it said.  I think the phone companies should require a name for the caller ID, not a form of the scam number they are using.

Phone rang, did not answer, no message left.

These people will not leave me alone.  Called again today at 12:13pm, I did not answer.  This time a message was left from Darcy Burner, a democrat running for Congress in Washington state.  I wish there were some way to stop political phone calls from being legal.  They are annoying.

Again, these people will NOT leave me alone.  Called again today (Sunday) at 4:40pm, I did not answer.  There was a recorded message left from Darcy Burner again, this time regarding the war in Afghanistan.  I finallyl called the number back and there is an automated system where you can press 1 to volunteer, 2 for etc., and zero to "speak to a campaign rep or you do not understand"..  I tried twice to do that to beg them to take me off their phone list but both times I just got a fast busy signal and then a disconnect (not surprising).  I finally emailed them to an email address found on her website and told them if they didn't leave me alone, I would wage my own campaign on Darcy for harrassing me.

If it were up to me, the caller ID field would not be modifiable.  But it's not up to me.
