This guy calling himself James Gaston called claiming I was being contacted related to a federal crime investigation and that I would be prosecuted if I did not respond. There is no reason I would be contacted and I had gotten a similar call over a year ago and discovered it was a scam artist. Called U.S Treasury Dept. and message stated the Dept. does not contact individual taxpayers by unsolicited telephone calls. Why can't the authorities track these people down and prosecute them?

I was glad to get Mr Gaston's call. Now that I have sent him $1000 I know that I'm safe from spending the rest of my life in federal prison. What a joke!

Got a call from this number, saying they were from the treasury dept., threatening legal action if I don't call back.
