Yep I just got this call for my first time tonight.
I didn't answer but they called twice.

Calls, then hangs up.  This is the UF Alumni call center.  I left them a message and will follow up with the university if this happens again.

The above message could have been written by me!!!!  We got yet another call tonight second in two nights.  I called UF Alumni Association on the number in our cell phone and gave them the message not once but 5 times that they need to stop calling me or no more money to them.  Is this a scam being perbetrated by another entity or what?????  In addition, I have called information to get the number for the UF Alumni Association and will call them tomorrow.

This is the contact info to call during regular business hours and ask to be removed from the list. It is the Florida Fund and they sub out the job of phone soliciting.  These callers can be real jerks.  It would be helpful to call the number above and let them know.  It is embarrassing that UF is associated with such antics.  I will not be giving them any more money. This has been going on for years, each time I give it is followed by a three-four months of trying to get the harassment to stop.

I have asked them to stop calling on 2 occasions now and while it dies down for a few months after my polite requests they inevitably start up again with the auto-dialer.  Are we not protected from them under the National Do Not Call registry?
