Got a phone call from this number. The caller left no voice message.

CID on cell ph. (a # I give out to relatively few) indicated "Cedar Key, FL".
After the call-center pregnant pause, the caller (did NOT say they were with the vehicle manufacturer, our local dealer,  or even a repair shop we've used in the past) asked for DH by name regarding 'Warranty on your [vehicle we own]...do you still own the vehicle?" Coincidentally, we had JUST had work done on this very vehicle a couple of days ago.
Smell car warranty scam using spoofed #.

Caller ask if I was the owner of a Suzuki automobile. I told him no. He then wanted to know what kind of car I had. When I asked him why he wanted to know, he hung up.

Always protect all your personal information no matter how mundane it may seem. Any information you provide will be used against you in some fashion.
