Keeps calling my cell and leaves no message

Same problem. They call, but leave no message. They've never called me until today.

Frequent calls, no messages left. Apparently not an automated calling system as there generally background noise such as someone fumbling with the phone. I have seen various reports of this being a telemarketer, how ever my impression is scammer or otherwise fraudulent as reverse look-ups as far as I am able to obtain show this as a land line, not a cellular number, and is reported to be Gainesville and/or High Springs. But the number is misrepresented implying an attempt to 'falsify' identity as Caller ID shows the number as being no name other than "Inverness FL" Which is quite a distance in the opposite direction from me to Gainesville, and definiately not even close to the same switch office!
