I got call from this number for 4 times in a row. I didn't pick the phone. They left a voicemail, and they claimed that they are from IRS and they have issued a warrant for me about my taxes and i will be arrested within 45-60 minutes. They tell me to call them back to 647-983-5713. The number they call me is 347-983-5713.
I call them back and they sounds very serious about it and they say i will be arrested and throw into jail for 4-5 years. He also said that if im not a citizen, then i will be arrested and serve for 4-5 years in federal prison, then deport me back to whichever country i come from.
Long story short, they tell me to pay the amount of tax that i owed in the last 4-5 years. I can not tell anyone (third party) about this conversation. They also said that they have tracked my number so if i dont pay them, they will sent police officer to arrest me.
I finally told my cousin about it and my cousin confront them, saying bunch of F, A, MF words to them. They got pissed and threaten us that they are calling police officer to arrest me because i dont want to pay them.
So, if you guys get a call from this number, or whatever number that claiming they are from IRS, dont panic.
Ask them these questions, see if they got it right:
1) do they know your location, ask them where exactly is your location
2) ask them what is your full name
3) what is your date of birth
4) what is your current address
5) ask them your social security number, not the last 4 digit, but full 9 digit.
they might be able to get answer for 2, 3, and 4.
IRS absolutely know our 9 digit SS number. If they say they dont want to tell you your full SS number or they get it wrong, then they are a scammer.
But, fell free to troll them.
