Yet another threat that money is owed to someone. I don't get the whole message since they're already talking when my answering machine kicks in. I've been getting these all week. Different numbers but same robo voice.

Recieved call from this number stating that charges had been filed in federal court for non payment of Income taxes. New location and new number but same scammers

The IRS reminds people that they can know pretty easily when a supposed IRS caller is a fake. Here are five things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these five things is a tell-tale sign of a scam. The IRS will never:
Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..

Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

Said IRS when I called it back..gave fake name , they said I owe 4K in taxes and a lawsuit would be filed if I didn't pay today. I asked for a badge number he gave me one that was too short and when I laughed he hung up. When I called back they said it was a grocery store in India ...clearly over seas scammer ..people are horrible

Called to say I owe money from tax filings 2010 to 2014. I told him BS because we always got our refund. Plus we filed with legitimate tax companies.
