Received a call on my mobile phone from 347-934-5025 on 1/24/2017 at 12:48pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "New York". Did not answer and no message was left.

Based on comments posted on other sites it appears that this is another number being used by the various "Electric Service" scams. I have added this number to my Google Voice block list. If the caller attempts to call again they will receive the not-in-service recording.

At 1:34pm on 1-25-17 I received a call from (347) 934-5025; they left no message. Am guessing it's spam. Why do we get these calls when we're on the Do Not Call list?

Definitely a spam-scam, like the fake AMBIT 'power' service and imposter 'Chase Bank'.
