"...filed against your name and your social security number and your physical address under the federal investigation. So don't disregard this message. Please call immediately on our hotline division number that is 347-906-8610. Make sure you call us as soon as possible."
I don't answer the phone anymore, it doesn't ring. Verizon sends me a voice mail with the mp3 attached of all voice mails left. I can't for the life of me figure out why the U.S. Treasury would need to speak to someone in this household. It's not just me but three adults. They never say WHOM they want. It's a recorded message and I haven't gotten any certified letters, both of which I would imagine and have been told they'd do before this. Actually, the IRS really did call me. They Indented as the IRS, they knew my name, all the 'proper' information. Okay, so I did Goggle the phone number and it was them. They said we didn't pay our taxes like two or three years prior. I informed them I'd received a refund in the amount of **** on ****. They said, Yes you did! But we're sorry, we don't have a copy, could you send it to this address... I Googled that address too!
You get the idea. I don't know what they want. The thing is, the U.S. Treasury wants me, the IRS is after me and God knows who else. Everybody's been after me for the six months or more and well, no one has actually shown up to my house! But this number keeps changing, it stays in place for two or three days and then it changes, basically the same message, just different number. I have to also believe that that these folks would Ident if they're the Internal Revenue Service or the U.D. Department of Whatever...
My question is why can't they find these guys?
