Called my cell phone with my nickname. Google Voice transcribed most of this scam call with a clearly Indian (South Asian) accented voice:
"Hi Rick, xxxxxxxx, My name is Kevin back and I'm calling you from the federal investigation of Boston this call is to notify you about of the case that has been filed against you in a social and physical address is under federal investigation, so I want you to give us a call back another pop a call back number is that it's (347) 901-4927. I repeat, 34790149279 C don't receive any call back showman the force for the we need to talk to this case to the courthouse and proceed in a legal way.  I would make sure you give us a call back. So then, Thank you and have a great day and thank you."

Called on 4/15/15 with a very thick accent, NY number, claiming to be from IRS investigation dept. Left msg.  both on cell and home number leaving their number to contact them. Called again to home and I said to send me a written notification in the mail. Threatened with lawsuit, it is a scam!

Pretends to be calling from the IRS with a heavy Indian accent. I doubt the IRS would hire a person that doesn't speak English to call American tax payers to demand back taxes, so it was obviously fraud call to me. Real Americans are lucky that we can easily weed out the scam callers because they don't speak English well. I wonder if they know they speak English like punjab clerks.
