This person sent me a fake cashiers check. He saw my ad off craigslist. He sent me a cashier's check from capital one for 2,250.00. Once I received the check via Fed ex,  I called capital one to verify if the check was real. Sure enough it wasn't.  I did this to see if someone would actually try the scam on me and it is indeed real. He is still persisting I cash the check and send him the rest of the money.
