Called saying that they were Microsoft Technical Dpt.

Tried to scare me saying that my computer was full of malware and when they realized I was tech-savvy, they just said to contact a technical guy I trusted and have him take a look at my computer...

Just got a call from them saying that my computer must be running slow and that they will fix for me.
Also said if I dont fix it now dont blame it on Windows.
Wanted to know what is my anti-virus software. Told him that wasnt his business.
How did they get my phone number,name and adress and Windows ID licence numbe.

Male with an East Indian accent - said he was calling from "Windows". When I squawked a bit about there being no such company, he said they were getting "damage" reports from my computer and it was on the verge of failure. Then he turned me over to his "Technician" (who's voice was identical) who said the same thing. I asked for a number and name so I could call him back as my computer was just executing an "ID ten T" process and not accessible at the moment. He gave me 347-809-6760 and his name as "Michael Druart" I asked where 347 are code was and he said the UK (It's New York). A search on that number led me here.

This "Technician" didn't even pause at my mention of the "ID ten T" process - write it out using numbers instead of letters for "ten".

This sounds like a fishing scam.
