I placed an ad for math tutoring. I received an email from "Arianna" who identified herself as "Sabrina". SHe needed tutoring for a GED ASAP, she said. Could I help her. We planned on meeting at her home the next evening. She called the next day and asked to reschedule a week later. I wondered if there was something funny going on, so I requested that we meet at the library instead. On that day, I called to confirm with her. She answered my call and after I identified myself, she hung up on me. After that, I called back (thinking I had been cut off) and the phone rang and rang and went to voicemail only, her voicemail was full. After repeated attempts to contact her, I went to the library, still believing that she might actually be on the level. "Arianna" or "Sabrina", whatever her name was, of course, never showed up.
