A heavily accented idiot claiming to be "Eric Johnson with the legal department of PCS" keeps calling and leaving a message for me or my attorney to call him at 347-709-6381 before they call my employment place and references and "get all sort of information" before I "get in a legal mess." Claims there is a case against my name and on my social security number "which I cannot disclose on this telephone call" (reads the last four digits). Obviously a fraud. I have experience similar calls before, with a somewhat different script, but always with people who claim to have generically American-sounding names that they can berely pronounce and leaving threatening messages. I tore the other ones off at the knees, and went months before getting another call, from different people reading from the identical script. This one is a different message, but the basic thrust and m.o. are the same. Tempted to call and hurt his feelings too. Doesn't do a thing to stop it or apprehend the perp, but it's fun to call them names and inform them that I've already reported them to the authorities.
