story still being used  - now in Arkansas and he states he has moved to Chicago IL

The ad was running in Little Rock, AR Sunday paper and I inquired about the "Free" motorcycle. Here is the email I received.

I am currently located at my new house in Chicago (IL) I have already asked movers to bring the Bike down here to Chicago (IL) from my grand-son's house in the city where the AD was posted and was going to put up a new AD here in Chicago (IL)  when the mover arrive, because my wife advised me to put up the ad on the Newspaper as she doesn't want to see the bike anymore because of the memory of our Grandson.

I bought the Motorcycle for my grandson as his birthday gift. Its 2004 Harley Davidson Softail and it has a good title. It is some months now since he died and I would like to give it out and seeing the bike will bring back it memory and it makes us sad, as the house will be emptied soon and I myself will be relocating to Atlanta, GA where we shall stay with other family members for care.

Where are you based please? If you are able to afford the delivery charges, so that I can coordinate the movers to return the bike to you where-ever you are located within the state as I only gave them the instruction Yesterday Evening, and I'm sure they will request for delivery fee from you.

We receive e-mails asking to place this ad in our newspaper - most recent was from franklewinson01@outlook.com Anyone that sees this kind of ad placed in their local paper should warn the ad reps there that they are perpetuating this scam and really need to check on their advertisers a little better. If its too good to be true, you're about to get screwed!

No phone call, but an email requesting to run a free motorcycle ad. I work at a newspaper and we realized that this was a scam ad and never ran it. It amazes me that he has been able to keep doing this for so long. From my experience his verbiage sounds like he is not from the United States. Remember folks if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
