called for a x-employee - cussing up a storm; saying he was "Officer Jordan" looking for so and so; at 1st tried to help him, but then he got extremely rude so I hung up; called every 2 mins thereafter.    Constant harrassment.   Told him to not call as this has nothing to do with the company find her yourself.   347-673-0004 was the #.

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.

Thank you for the information.  I just received a message on my business phone, could not understand what the person was saying except that he wanted me or my attorney to call him back 2 seconds after I listen to the message, and he said something about my dept problems, and that he could not leave any other information because its a voice mail.  I knew that it couldn't have been legit because I know when bill collectors call they leave all kinds of information on your voicemail...I use to be a bill collector.  
How do these people get business numbers?
