Cash Scam. Act like they're Advance America cash advance, but ask you wire $200 to receive your installment loan. I went to Advance Americas website and called their CSR she said to get a loan through them they would never ask to wire money and that they do not have an office in Brooklyn, New York. She said it was a scam.

To add, it is against federal law to offer a loan over the phone, but require upfront money.

I received this text today from 805-621-7646...... Hi,this is James Parker from CASH ADVANCE AMERICA and this text is regards to inform you that your loan application has been approved up to $8000.00 so if  u are still in a market looking for loan text us back or give us callback on 347-670-0633. I called back and he told me I was approved for $8000 but I needed to send them $300 to show I can pay for the loan and I will get it back with the $8000. The crazy part is  he had all my information.
