this was a call back from not responding to the first call from 404-578-5697 about a Federal Grant for 1000$.  Expecting me to call # 315-951-0156 to confirm my "Approval" of the grant.  The first caller from the 404# told me to call the 315# with my confirmation code and can pick up my grant # at a Western Union. lol  Since when do Federal Govt. grants come through WU?

They call me 2-3 a day and I am getting sick of it

They call me from a 404 number asking for my brother.  I told them they had the wrong number and they guy said "I don't think so" and Hung up.  Then he called back from the (347) 584-8868 telling me to "[***] off" when I gave him the same response again

This is a phone scam my friends. They say they are going to send you $7000.00 in grant money that doesn't have to be paid back but you must first sent then $210.00. I told them to just deduct the $210.00 from the $7000.00 but of course they couldn't do this. Don't waste your time with these crooks. I am a Deputy Sheriff of 20 years and this has become very common. You would be surprised at the people that fall for it. The sad part is you can't prosecute them because they're almost always in another Country or just simply can't be found. DON'T FALL FOR IT. Remember the old cliche, it's almost always correct;;;"" WHEN SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS""!! At least 99.999% of the time anyway.  Best wishes to you and GOD Bless....
