I received the same exact message today. What a crock. It's would only contact you by official mail. Tried calling number back. Nothing but dead silence

Got the same call with an automated voice. Decided peek down the rabbit hole so I called back. Got an Indian sounding fellow who answered "Internal Revenue Service, how may I help you?" So it seems they're stepping up their spoof efforts.
