Caller indicated that he was collecting on behalf of NY Police Dept/NYPD charities (or something like that). I hung up before I let him finish b/c he has called repeatedly in the past. NYPD NEVER solicits money & NYPD only has ONE associated charity that raises funds for fallen officers & their families -- but NEVER BY PHONE. So this "B Roopaira" is a scam. I'm calling the NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau (212-741-8401) to alert them or be added to the list of complaints.

B.ROOPNAIRANE came up on caller ID. I was not at home. I called and got this msg " we're sorry your call did not go through. Please call again later." SCAM
