I got several calls today and an email. My identity was stolen and I have been dealing with this kind of crap for a few years now. Every day I get emails or text messages saying that the loan I applied for is ready. I never applied for any loan!!! They need to stop because this is crazy and I don't have time for this.

Just received the same email... I never even had that type of money deposited into my account so how can they say I owe them? I had this same type of phone call about a month or two ago and I kept giving back to them and told them i was reporting them to local police and to anyone else that I felt needed to be informed. After that I stopped gettin phone calls and now all the sudden I am gettin this email. I think I will be goin to local news and police. This needs to be put to a stop.

I keep responding to them to get more info even though I know it is a scam. This time I ask them what day the money was deposited and it was like 2 years ago, so contacted my bank and there was no money deposited of that sort for that day. So, I emailed them back to stop bothering me and to send me a certified letter.

Report them to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Email is not a legal way to send you a court summons.  Nor is it the legal way to send you a dunning letter for an alleged debt.  You can forward the email to the FBI at their Internet Crime Complaint Center - www.ic3.gov.  Contact the FTC at www.ftc.gov, and you can find your state's AG here: www.naag.org.

Any time you get these emails - just delete them - they are scams - nothing more, nothing less.  Do not respond to them.  If any of the emails have attachments - DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT!  This may allow malware/keyloggers/viruses onto your computer, which may allow the scammers to have access to any personal information on your computer, or to copy the keystrokes you use when you log in to sensitive sites, like your bank account online.
