Received same exact email this morning, you cannot get arrested for this and now they passed a law, no more payday loans in New York are allowed.

Received  a letter with a Case Number and amount like many other people who have complained about this matter of receiving E-mails saying they are taking me to court.  About 1 1/2 years ago I did get a couple payday loans but paid them back right away.  They are saying that the amount is 60 days past due and have not gotten anything from any payday places in about 2 years. I know this is a scam because may people have received the same letter with the same case number and same amount due.  

Yes, as a matter of fact it is illegal for any companies to offer payday loans by phone, internet, or in person as per the attorney general's website.  It is also illegal for companies to try and collect on them.  They can put that in their pipe and smoke it!

I got the same identical email i was getting repeated calls from them they were screaming and telling at me telling me i committed fraud i was going to prison alot of scare tactics first of all i did not borrow any money I was looking into but never did due to overwhelming calls but they did manage to scam my bank account so i have learned quite a lesson but this is a huge scam trying to get you to pay a bill you never owed.
