Went to a festival over the weekend. There were plenty of prize giveaways and one of them was a cruise to the Bahamas. Like anything else my boyfriend and I both entered. Since then we have been receiving calls from two different new york city numbers. He answered and was told the same thing - he won a trip, it included hotels, a disneyworld pass, a cruise, all for 300/person. But if he didn't process it that day they would be awarding the prize to someone else. He said go ahead and hung up on them.

Calling about winning trip to bahamas, only $299 a person, traced number back to travel agency in brooklyn, not registered with the better business bureau.  Called the number, no one answerd after 10rings, this was at 3:47pm, kind of fishing for a traveling agency.  Didn't accept offer or give out any credit card info.  It's a scam in my opinion.

Same exact thing happened to me two days ago...they called me at 3:30 telling me i won a trip to florida/bahamas...they got all my information from a festival i went to. I thought it was strange they just call  expecting you to pay $299 over the phone THEN they'll send you the information... what a joke.

I have been ignoring so far - will see how long they try!

Same thing  won some trip after beer fest but something about how I need to pay or if I have a major credit card. Told them I had no credit card that ended that real fast haha knew there was something up with this.
